As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Your routine patrols and visible presence contribute to a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This position requires driving responsibilities. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as required.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and verifying credentials when needed.
  • Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations, addressing security-related concerns as directed by site management.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.
