As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an auto auction location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment for vehicles, customers, and team members. You will complete routine foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies for an automotive auction and vehicle storage location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lots, lanes, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
Control access at gates and entry points by checking credentials, verifying scheduled appointments and/or deliveries, and directing drivers to appropriate areas according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting accidents, disturbances, vehicle damage, and/or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete detailed security-related reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate updates during shift turnovers and/or as requested.
