You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related issues, and support access control and incident reporting using site systems. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset as you provide responsive customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter lines, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification and/or visitor authorization, directing traffic flow as needed, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initial assessment, notification of supervisors and/or emergency services, and completion of required reports.
• Operate and/or observe security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels when assigned, and communicate relevant information to location contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
