As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and inspections, and communicate status updates during shift turnover to support consistent security-related operations.
