PURPOSE: Ensure guests, tenants and team members at Mall of America have a positive experience by providing excellent service related to guest relations and safety and enforce the Parental Escort Policy (PEP). ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Enforce the MOA Parental Escort Policy and other MOA rules. Patrol MOA common areas or remain stationed at Mall entrances, as assigned. Verify guests are at least 16 years of age using physical copies of government issued IDs or have a parent or guardian that is at least 21 years old. Request ID from guests who appear under 21 years of age, based on training and discretion. Address violations of MOA rules, including asking guests to leave Mall property when necessary. Consistently provide outstanding internal and external guest service. Utilize radio for clear and detailed communication with Dispatch, Supervisors, and other relevant staff. Respond to incident calls as directed by dispatcher or supervisor. May provide first aid or CPR in life threatening situations. Request police or EMS services as necessary. Assist in emergency procedures including perimeters and reporting suspicious items, vehicles, and individuals when necessary. Assist in reuniting juvenile guests with parents or guardians. Cross train with Traffic department and assist with traffic control as assigned. Work special events, bag checks, roof details, and crowd control details as assigned. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and high-volume days. Additional other duties as assigned.
