As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through courteous customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic; report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and/or key observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
