Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a busy chemical and petrochemical location. You will monitor access activity, track officer deployment, coordinate radio and phone communications, and document incidents using computer or tablet tools. Your presence and fast, calm decision-making help to reduce security-related disruptions while delivering helpful customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, access control, and/or camera systems; receiving calls for service; and coordinating response using radio and/or phone communications.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gather key details, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or public responders per post orders.
Complete dispatch logs and incident reports, document security-related activity accurately, and relay shift updates to oncoming personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location and operational activity.
