As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support day-to-day operations with clear communication and customer service for employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to branch staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution, including interior public areas, work areas as directed, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help support site rules, reporting concerns and/or policy violations to management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during post handoff, and support opening and/or closing procedures as assigned.
