As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver clear communication and customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. You will put people first and act with integrity every shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production and warehouse areas, exterior grounds, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, directing visitors and/or contractors, and documenting arrivals and departures per site procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
Complete security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and observations related to deliveries, truck traffic, and restricted areas.
