Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with customer-focused service and clear communication. Requirements

A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Having a guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when appropriate and requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and/or assisting with visitor check-in requirements per location policy.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs with clear, timely, and accurate information.
Perform foot and/or vehicle patrol checks of doors, gates, lighting, and other property conditions, and notify property management and/or maintenance of observed issues.
Communicate professionally with property management, onsite staff, and Allied Universal leadership to support daily operations and follow site-specific instructions.
