Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with time spent moving between areas as needed. You will thrive in a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor access points and observe visitor flow; assist with wayfinding and notify site contacts when individuals require escort and/or additional support.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per site procedure.
Complete routine security-related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and activity summaries; communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
