As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the area. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall environment, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious, unusual, or concerning behaviors and/or conditions to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and helping to support a secure environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed in the event of an incident.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and unauthorized activity within the location.
