As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a dynamic retail or mall location. Your role will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting visitors, and providing outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X Ray screening experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, working with site contacts and Allied Universal management as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or any disruptive behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
Work collaboratively with retail management, store staff, and Allied Universal team members to support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Remain alert and approachable while on patrol and while interacting with the public, providing assistance and direction as needed.
