Your visible presence and regular patrols support a welcoming environment for guests and tenants. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting Allied Universal's commitment to service.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public, tenants, and staff within the retail environment.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by site procedures.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as assigned.
Assist with crowd management and directions during peak periods or special events within the retail or mall location.
