As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe for signs of suspicious behavior, hazards, or potential risks within the location and promptly report findings according to procedures.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment for patrons.
Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
