As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage sign-in and badge processes, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related observations and incidents. You will serve as a professional first point of contact, helping support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while staying agile, reliable, and innovative in daily operations.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary credentials, manage the sign-in process, and notify internal contacts for guest escort and appointments.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, reporting unusual conditions per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical response coordination, and/or lockdown procedures as directed.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, handle telephone and radio communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
