As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, verifying credentials, and monitoring the lobby and entry systems for security-related concerns. You will document activity, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and help to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, managing sign-in processes, issuing temporary badges, and assisting with access control to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and visitor records, and communicate key updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or oncoming personnel.
