As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will welcome employees and guests, support badge and visitor check-in, monitor cameras and alarms, and handle phones and radio communications. You will document incidents, escalate concerns, and provide a calm, service-focused presence that helps support security-related operations. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and other security-related protocols.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or alarms from a stationary post and report unusual activity to the appropriate contacts to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and coordinating with internal contacts for approvals and escort requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports and maintain required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and key or badge records, and communicate relevant updates during shift change.
