As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and provide clear customer service and communication to tenants, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct guests to the appropriate destination while supporting a professional lobby and site presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or responding public services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
