As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and provide clear customer service and communication to tenants, staff, and visitors. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing a caring, people-first approach while always acting with integrity.

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.
State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct guests to the appropriate destination while supporting a professional lobby and site presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or responding public services as directed.
Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
