As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document security-related observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

Possess 6+ months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, controlling access to affected areas as directed, and completing detailed reports.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verifying credentials, following site entry requirements, and directing visitors and contractors according to posted rules and client instructions.
Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and access control platforms as assigned, documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
