As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver friendly customer service, communicate clearly with team members and site leaders, and act with integrity. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage manufacturing and/or distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, spills, equipment issues and/or access concerns through the proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, loading docks, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support order on site.
- Monitor access points for employees, contractors and delivery drivers, verify authorization as required, and support traffic flow for inbound and outbound vehicles.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol activity logs, incident reports and shift handoffs, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
