You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. You will document activity, assist with access control as needed, and collaborate with site teams, bringing integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, tank farms, loading areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required, manage vehicle entries, and document deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or abnormal conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate contacts, and complete required reports and logs.
  • Perform routine security-related checks of gates, locks, lighting, and other barriers, and report maintenance issues and/or hazards observed during rounds.
