You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. You will document activity, assist with access control as needed, and collaborate with site teams, bringing integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

Requirements

Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, tank farms, loading areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required, manage vehicle entries, and document deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or abnormal conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate contacts, and complete required reports and logs.
Perform routine security-related checks of gates, locks, lighting, and other barriers, and report maintenance issues and/or hazards observed during rounds.
