You will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access and visitor checks, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial chemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, logging visitors and vendors, and verifying delivery and vehicle information per site procedures.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through the established chain of command.
