As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Assist with maintaining a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual or suspicious activity at entry and exit points.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors and employees with access-related questions and concerns.
Support emergency response activities as directed, following protocols for incidents that may occur at a chemical or petrochemical location.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and logs.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and support overall site operations.
Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations related to access control at the location.
