As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access control and visitor badging, monitoring alarm panels and cameras, and documenting security-related activity with clear communication. You will support tenants, guests, and property teams with customer-focused service while representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access by welcoming guests, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate destinations using established sign-in and/or badging processes.
Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity per post orders to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting building management and/or emergency services when required.
Complete timely, detailed reports of incidents, visitor activity, and notable events, and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and on-site personnel during the shift.
