As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver great customer service while supporting a reliable, caring team culture built on integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, support visitor check-in requirements, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for employees and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate security-related information during shift handoff.
