As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will make routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shipping operations with clear communication and outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and location-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential losses.
• Monitor access points and truck and trailer movement, verifying identification, appointments, and shipping documentation as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, and incident details in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership per escalation guidelines.
