You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and incident reporting, and provide friendly customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating notifications per post orders.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate pertinent information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
