As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this driving role, you will interact with employees and visitors, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism on location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues within the utilities environment.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management relevant to the utilities setting.
