As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle as needed to cover the property. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, loading docks, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and assist with directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and/or property concerns, and promptly notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and maintenance or property issues observed, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
