Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will deliver standout customer service, communicate clearly, and support the team with integrity in a caring, agile environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our retail location clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the store, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity for suspicious behavior, reporting potential policy violations and/or hazards according to post orders.
• Complete routine reports and logs, maintain a professional presence, and communicate clearly with store personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders when required.
