As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide standout customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 5+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by verifying identification, directing visitor check-in, and documenting entries and exits in logs and/or electronic systems according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift activity reports, communicate observations to the onsite team, and follow chain-of-command instructions.
