As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support daily operations with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances and/or exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disorderly persons, medical situations, and/or alarm activations as directed by post orders.
• Monitor activity in and around the location, report suspicious behavior, and complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Support store operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and/or assistance to customers, and coordinating with on-site management and local public services when needed.
