As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
Conduct identification and verification of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain a professional presence and support the security-related needs of the manufacturing and industrial environment.
