As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and support a professional lobby experience. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, communicate clearly with tenants and staff, and respond to concerns with calm, caring service. You will represent an agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Control access to the property by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or tenant authorization, issuing visitor badges when required, and directing guests to the appropriate suites or contacts.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as needed and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete reports and front desk logs such as visitor entries, deliveries, incidents, and shift turnover notes, and communicate key information to Allied Universal leadership and/or property management.
