As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, you will greet guests and team members, manage visitor check-in, and support access control using badges and/or key systems. You will monitor cameras and alarm panel activity, communicate clearly during incidents, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Your steady presence helps promote a welcoming environment while handling security-related requests.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Greet and assist customers, employees, and vendors, directing them to the appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence in a retail environment.
  • Monitor access points and the front desk area, checking identification and/or authorizations as required by site policy and documenting visitor activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation and shift activity records, and communicate noteworthy information during shift handoff.
