As a Front Desk Officer at a residential location, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access using visitor and ID procedures, answer calls, and document security-related activity with clear communication. Requirements

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations for a residential location.
  • Monitor access control by greeting residents and visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, and issuing visitor passes and/or entry instructions.
  • Answer phones and respond to requests for assistance, routing calls to appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, report irregular activity to site leadership, and maintain accurate shift logs and incident documentation.
