As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will greet patients and visitors, manage access and visitor logs, answer questions, and support a welcoming check-in experience. You will monitor the lobby and entry points, communicate clearly with staff, and document security-related concerns while helping to discourage unwanted activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and security-related protocols at a healthcare location.
  • Control access by greeting and screening entrants, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations based on site guidelines.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications systems as assigned, and document unusual activity and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services per site procedure.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports, including incident documentation, shift activity notes, and handoff communication to the next officer.
