Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and service while documenting observations and concerns. Requirements

Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, access concerns, and/or requests for support from onsite personnel.
Monitor access points and common areas, observe for policy violations and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.
