As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, assist team members and visitors with professional customer service, and report concerns clearly. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas such as entrances, parking areas, yard areas, and dock perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity by checking identification, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and directing drivers, vendors, and associates to the appropriate areas in accordance with site policy.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, utilize cameras and other monitoring equipment as assigned, and complete shift logs and reports in a timely manner.
