You will complete routine interior and exterior patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge checks. Using a computer and/or tablet as needed, you will document activity and communicate clearly while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial institution setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, offices, and exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and maintenance or hazard concerns, and report findings per site protocol.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entrances, assisting with visitor management, and observing for prohibited or suspicious items and/or behavior, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and customer disputes, and coordinate with management and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete timely documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff to support consistent security-related operations.
