Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, loading areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential policy violations, and/or property damage, and help to deter incidents through high-visibility presence and proactive engagement.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors, and follow post orders for access control, customer assistance, and/or directional support.
