As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization when required, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting unusual activity.
Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts.
