As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while providing helpful customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and facility alarms.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or loitering, and direct visitors to appropriate check-in areas as needed.
Complete timely documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
