As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Vaccines required for work in a hospital environment.
Must be able to work in areas including the hospital morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment as required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuation procedures and/or medical emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support the healthcare location's operations.
