As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and responding to requests. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorized access when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations according to site procedures.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a timely manner, and communicate pertinent information during shift changes and/or via established reporting channels.
