As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain high visibility throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service through clear and compassionate communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must provide proof of vaccination as required for hospital settings.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support the security-related needs of the location.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the healthcare setting.
Assist employees, patients, and visitors by providing directions or information, and support a welcoming environment consistent with healthcare facility standards.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for reporting, documentation, and communication.
