As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the healthcare environment.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support site-specific healthcare policies and procedures to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
