Job Description As a Security Officer - Patient Observation Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills according to established protocols.
